Jon Hulburt - Field Coordinator
Jon (they/them) grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of southwestern Virginia enjoying many of the trails, lakes, and rivers the area had to offer. After graduating with a Geology degree from Guilford College in 2013 Jon headed to Maine for their second season with the other MCC (Maine Conservation Corps) before turning their sights westward. In addition to several seasons with trail crews around the country, Jon has also worked as an outdoor educator, camp director, backpacking guide, and much more. Jon moved to Montana to continue their endless search for great snowboarding days and found a happy home in Missoula in 2015. Outside of work, Jon can be found enjoying science fiction novels, riding their bicycle, and, when warm enough, jumping in the river with their dog.
