Carmen Murrill - Field Coordinator

Carmen grew up in New Hampshire, her appreciation for public lands forming in the woods of the Northern Appalachian range. Since 2017, Montana communities and mountains have become home. For the last few years, she has worked seasonally for MCC and other conservation organizations in Missoula. Alongside fieldwork, she completed a bachelor’s at UM in resource conservation with a wilderness studies minor. Carmen was thrilled to join the Central Divide team in 2023 as a field coordinator. She is passionate about opportunities that connect people with the land and human/non-human communities. In her free time, Carmen scoots around the hills with Basil the wonder dog. Her other hobbies include reading, writing and crafting.
