Once upon a time, three crews came together to work on trail revegetation in Big Sky, Montana. As the hitch approached, the chilly weather of late fall quickly descended, and the members became worried it would be too cold and potentially snowy for them to sleep comfortably in their tents. Luckily (?), there was a giant aluminum garage/bunker, and all the members would soon be cuddled up on the concrete floor. Protected by a tin roof, the inclement weather was no match. I can now officially say I slept in a tin can with about 14 other people!

In the field, we revegetated roughly 1.8 miles of trail, removed 1.6 acres of invasive plant species, and removed roughly .06 miles of fencing. This was all in an effort to improve the habitat of elk, moose, and other wildlife on a section of FWP land.
