Some of the willows will also be used in beaver dam restoration projects. Our team plus another MCC crew collected a total of over 18,000 willows branches! It was a great way to end the season. The Bondurant area is beautiful and we got a sneak peak of winter, before one last wave of summer hit. A good feeling came over us at the end of everyday knowing that our work was directly impacting the environment around us in a positive way.
