There's a few things that being on hitch will teach you,
And a guarantee that plans will go askew.
But with a good team,
Things are never as bad as they may seem,
And you'll make it out stronger as a crew.
You may find yourself stuck in snow,
Or get bit all over by mosquito,
But if you take a look around,
What you will have found,
Is every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
And just like the abundance of huckleberries,
There's never a shortage of kindness people carry-
Like lending a pair of boots
Or offering a hand to pull out some roots.
What a gift to be in the woods with good company.
