Backyard Bridgers

After bouncing around the surrounding states to start our season, MCC's Crew 3 landed on the Bridger Foothills Trail for our first backcountry stint of the season. Being able to see the city of Bozeman from our campsite brought us all together, being enamored by our own temporary home. We trudged up and down the rugged terrain, polishing a popular trail for the residents of Bozeman and those of the surrounding area. We were thanked by countless bikers, hikers, and motocross riders. Some folks even asked if they could donate to our program to express their gratitude. The crew united on the ridge for a beautiful display of fireworks, looking down on the city, capped off with the most fantastic sunset any of us had ever seen on the 4th of July. We cannot wait to explore this beautiful range in our free time for the rest of the hiking season.
