The Final "M"ontana Project

A view down the viewing platform at the M trail. There is a new retaining wall.

Our backcountry crew had spent their entire fall season barely seeing a single soul on the trails we built. Fall crew's first front country hitch was their last hitch and it was located on the popular "M" trail in Bozeman, Montana. Tasked with building a 50-foot retaining wall near the top of the M. The community was so appreciative of the work we were doing on the trail and many members of the public stopped to recount their own personal stories of working with the Montana Conservation Corps. There were so many dogs to pet! So many photos taken! And so many happy community members who jogged by every day to say HI! It was nice for the Fall crew to see how much the public enjoys the work that we do here at the MCC!
