The last hitch was very bittersweet. The first few days were spent in the rain and some light snow. The project partners made sure to cheer us up with Lil’ Caesars and hot chocolate. We built 6 new H-braces and repaired .8 miles of old rusty fence. Being up so high on Mac Pass gave us ethereal end-of summer views. The nearby water pump that was constantly flowing was also a special treat compared to normal town tap water. Overall, it was a great way to wrap up the season with good memories and good meals.
