Rain and Snow and Sunshine

First time submitting anything for this season. It's an unusual time of year to be working and sleeping in the outdoors. Spring in Montana is a little more foreboding than in many of our home states. The two leader training crews and the wildland restoration leaders joined forces this week (with a couple of YCC administrators for reinforcements). We drove out to Noxon, past Libby, to work on some watershed vegetative restoration and learned a lot of new things on the job. As seems to be the case this time of year in Montana, we had about five different types of weather over the five-day week. We've been training with each other for about two months, so it was bittersweet that this is the last time we will get to work with many of this years leaders. It seems like the member season is fast approaching and it's starting to become real. Two more weeks of work and then it'll be time to prep for the real show!
