
It was a grueling hitch. Whether it be the uneven and rocky tread, the hundreds of trees blown over, or the sharp incline, we sure did have our work cut out for us. After 8 grueling days, we finally made it to the summit where a pristine log cabin waited for us. Filled with a stove, cot, and other necessities needed for a night it was truly a magic place. We took a long lunch and soaked in the views looking into Glacier National Park. We had the whole place to ourselves. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
