White River Noise

A close up shot of rapids in a river. The water is flowing quickly over rocks creating waves and choppy water.

Basecamp was at Deadman Creek Campground, next to a burial ground. No haunting dreams, but a roaring East Fork Salmon River. The white noise river help me sleep through the night. Everyday I was looking forward to hear that river, it speaks to me, tells me to meditate in the cold, snow melt water. I do so, and heals me, all the soreness from a long days work. Unfortunately, we were told to move back to the Krassel Work Center due to a flood warning. Ever since then, couldn't get a good night sleep. We drove to our project site since then but hearing the river take over our stretch circle, always made me feel ready to go out there and give it my all.
