By integrating learning with service in the outdoors, MCC is able to help young people develop important life and work skills. The rigors of outdoor living coupled with dynamic education create a rich environment for learning and growth. Additionally, these young people provide a powerful force for our public lands and communities through their commitment to service.

Your donation is an investment in young people that reinforces leadership and teamwork, teaches outdoor skills, and fosters strong ethics for public service and hard work.

NATHAN COX & FRIENDS MEMORIAL FUND

Nathan Cox came to MCC in 1999.  Like other alumni, Nathan believed strongly in serving as a way to share his love of wilderness. With the same passion that helped him embrace the mission of MCC, Nathan faced a courageous battle with cancer before he died in 2003.

In honor of Nathan, the Cox family has established The Nathan Cox & Friends Memorial Fund at MCC to honor currently serving members and alumni for their significant commitment to service and to keeping our most cherished wild places safe, beautiful, and accessible.

To make a gift to the Nathan Cox & Friends Memorial Fund, please reference the fund in a note with your gift.
