Local Happenings

ThursdayFest - (June - August) - This is a seasonal event in  Kalispell that offers live music, food, vendors, arts and crafts, a farmers market, and a beer and wine garden.

Picnic in the Park - (June - August) - This event is offered Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. Live music is available and food vendors if you forget your own picnic basket.

Arts in the Park - (July) - This is the Hockaday Museum’s oldest major fund-raiser. Visitors to the fair can enjoy browsing the artistic creations; taking in a variety of great entertainment; and food samples.

Glacier Rod Run - (July) - This annual event features hot rods from the old days in the streets of downtown Kalispell.

Northwest Montana Fair and Parade - (August) - Kalispell hosts this regional gathering which involves both commercial and individual exhibits, 4H/FFA exhibits, five days and six nights of Inland Empire/Royal West Amusements carnival, three nights of PRCA Rodeo action and fireworks after the rodeo, and much more.

Glacier Jazz Stampede - (October) - This four-day, four-venue music festival of Traditional, Ragtime, Dixieland, Big Band and Swing Jazz in Kalispell at the Red Lion Hotel.
