Danielle Woods - Field Coordinator
Being from northern New Jersey, being in the wilderness wasn't something "normal" that people did in their free time. But that didn't stop Dani from spending whatever free time she could in whatever woods she could find. Joining a community crew with the SCA at 18, Dani kick started her career in conservation by building trails in the woods near Pennsylvania. From there, she went to Montana State University to major in Natural Resource and Rangeland Ecology, while also competing with the ultimate frisbee team and the timbersports team (basically competitive lumberjacking).
Dani went back to lead her first crew with the SCA in New Jersey in 2017, and spent much of that summer travelling to New York City and all over New Jersey to supervise the crews in the area. Upon graduating from MSU, Dani happened upon an opening as the Logistics Coordinator with the MCC, and got lucky enough to hop on with great leaders and an even better staff team. After the year ended, she managed to snag the coveted Field Coordinator position and couldn't be happier with that choice. She's grateful for the opportunity to stay in Bozeman and continue to take in all that Montana has to offer. In her free time, you can find Dani playing whatever game you can come up with, drawing, or playing as much ultimate frisbee as she can with one of the teams in the area!
