Six diverse crew members wearing MCC and AmeriCorps t-shirts and standing on a high mountain with a couple of ladders and it is sun shining day but the mountain peaks are covered in snow.

Young Adult Opportunities

Field Crew Member

Imagine waking up to the sun peaking over the mountains or looking out over the plains as far as the eye can see.  You are in the Mountain West, you might be in the mountains or high plains, either way it is majestic.  You are tired because you and your team worked hard the day before building trail, fixing fence, restoring a campground or eliminating noxious weeds, but you are ready to start a new day because you feel mother nature's strength.  You feel a sense of accomplishment and even something more...pride because you are giving back to America.

Each crew will consist of 4 members and 2 leader. Crews will work and camp for up to 10 days at a time in frontcountry and backcountry locations in all types of weather conditions.  Each member will get basic first aid/CPR certifications, and, more importantly, a professional stepping stone to agencies like BLM, Forest Service, and the Parks Service! Beyond that, you are helping so many others to connect to the great outdoors and improving our environment.

Sound like an experience your ready for? Then don't let the sun go down before you apply today!
