Gallatin Gateway Warriors

A Wilderness Response crew surveys a hillside

This week our MCC Wildland Restoration crew quite literally reached new heights. We put our "mountain goating" skills to the test scaling the Gallatin Mountain Ranges to reach Spotted Knapweed, Yellow Toadflax, and Canada, Musk, and Bull thistles. We were exceptionally happy to be working with fellow conservationists that cared so much about this gorgeous area. The work is never done, but we put a stop to the spread of many noxious weeds and gave native plants a chance to advance and maintain this beautiful natural region.
