Idaho Panhandle Corridor Clearing

Our Northern Rockies crew was assigned to the Spotted Louis trail for 8 days to clear a much forgotten trailhead in the St. Joe National Forest. Our goal for the hitch was to clear the corridor from the trailhead to the Clearwater River, it was a strenuous 6 mile hike as we inched along lopping, sawing and clearing brush along the trail but the work was paid off by beautiful sub-pacific northwest forests, creeks and waterfalls. Once we finally reached the Clearwater River it was time to turn back and finish touching up the trail as we worked back to our camp. Our work provided a much needed widening and clearing of the trail.
